Job Description
Coach Middle School Girls Volleyball
Fall Season (midAugust through late October)
Practices: 3 days/week & approximately 10 games
The Coach will be responsible for coaching and developing the skills of the middle school girls volleyball team. The coach will be expected to create and implement practice plans develop game strategies and provide guidance and support to the team members. The coach will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of the players during practices and games and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement practice plans
- Develop game strategies
- Promote skill development teamwork and sportsmanship
- Ensure safety of players during practices and games
- Communicate effectively with parents school administration and other coaches
- Attend all practices and games
Qualifications:
- 25 years experience coaching at the club middle high school or college level
- Passion for working with middle school students
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- NFHS Concussion in Sports Certificate required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and encourage team members
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation:
- $25/hour ($2000 for season)
