Job Description

Pine Lake Preparatory an A rated public charter school is seeking an Exceptional Children (EC) Teacher Math Focus for the Upper School. Were looking for an educator who is enthusiastic adaptable and ready to collaborate with a variety of learners and colleagues. This role includes both inclusion and resource settings offering a rich rewarding teaching experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe inclusive classroom rooted in respect.

  • Develop and manage IEPs ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers to implement accommodations and monitor progress.

  • Collect and report student data to track growth.

  • Communicate effectively with families colleagues and the EC Director.

  • Participate in team meetings PD and school activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (minimum) and NC EC licensure (Grades 912).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience working with diverse learners and a collaborative mindset.
