About the Role
You will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nations most respected hospitals with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local statewide national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated innovative and caring.
This position sits within the RPAH Critical Care Social Work team and provides the primary social work response to our busy emergency department. Interested applicants should be able to provide a high standard of clinical service to patients their families and carers with circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills. Applicants should also have a working knowledge of supporting people in distress trauma responses child protection and situations involving domestic and family violence.
Interested applicants should be mindful that the position involves exposure to distressing situations at times. The successful candidate will receive support within their clinical team and also receive regular clinical supervision.
