Job Description
Facility: Samaritan Hospital Albany Memorial Campus
Address: 600 Northern Blvd Albany NY 12204
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 15:00 23:00 (MF)
Pay Rate: $65/hr (W2) $70/hr (1099)
- Perform the following diagnostic ultrasound exams independently:
- Obstetric (OB)
- Pelvic
- DVT (venous) vascular
- Carotid
- Abdominal
- Retroperitoneal
- Scrotal
- Head/Neck

- Support emergency care providers with timely and accurate imaging.
- Ensure patient safety and quality standards during all exams.
- Maintain clear documentation and coordinate effectively with the medical team.
- Certification:
- CPR Certification Required
- ARDMS Certification Preferred
- If not ARDMScertified documentation of formal ultrasound education is required.

- Experience:
- 3 years preferred in diagnostic medical sonography ideally in an ER or acute setting.
- No MSK (musculoskeletal) experience required.

- Skills:
- Strong independence and confidence in a solo tech setting.
- Ability to prioritize and respond quickly in a fastpaced environment.
