University of Floridas Veterinary Community Outreach Program (VCOP) is recruiting for an individual to work in a dual role as a client service representative and assistant. The VCOP program is designed to introduce students to the challenges of veterinary practice in both community and shelter environments and give experience in spay and neuter techniques plus preventative medicine of canines and felines.
Example of Veterinary Technician Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
The service receives Monday Friday. May require working earlier than 7:45am or later than 5:00pm
This is a fulltime benefited position and is considered essential personnel. A postoffer education verification background check and health assessment are required.
$15 $16 per hour
High school diploma or equivalent.
1year experience in Veterinary Medicine

This is a CARE position offering limited benefits including health insurance and paid time off. When appropriate certifications are achieved promotional opportunities to a level II title may be available. This position will also become eligible for transition into a TEAMS (staff) salary plan.
