Job Description

This position is part of the Operational Process Engineering department located in Coralville Iowa and will be onsite. At IDT we are one global team. We celebrate our differences engage in healthy debates and are inclusive. Together we accomplish great things.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Monitor trend analyze and improve process KPIs as well as identify and implement improvements to existing monitoring
- Assist in defining processes using Process Capability Methods and Standard Work
- Provide engineering analysis and documentation to support process deployment transfer and ramp into manufacturing
- Conduct manufacturing and project reviews through preparation of but not limited to Process Maps FMEA and RiskMitigation Plans
- Support in solving technical issues and delays in production by driving to root cause through design of experiments and working cross functionally with other teams in the organization
- Other duties as assigned
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelors degree in science engineering or related field
- Basic analysis or statistics experience
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma PSP DMAIC or similar problemsolving methodology
- Benchtop laboratory or lab automation experience
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- CRISPR NGS qPCR or other biological assays involving oligos
- JMP software data analysis
- Ability to develop and sustain productive work relationships with support groups and internal stakeholders
