Adelphi is seeking highly qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologists to provide specialized speech language pathology services to students for a school district located in New Mexico. The Speech Language Pathologists will be responsible for providing a wide range of speech language pathology services tailored to the unique needs of students as well as consultation with parents teachers and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:
Must be licensed by the State of New Mexico Public Education Department and possess a license from the State of New Mexico Licensing and Regulation.
Must be licensed by the ASHA.
Have Provider Identifier (NPI) number and be a Medicaid provider.
3 years of successful work experience in public schools/institutions of higher education or other agencies preferred.
Experience providing speech and language services to school age children preferred
Experience with the IEP process IEP development and implementation preferred
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
Willing to carry out assigned tasks and perform responsibilities.
Other qualifications determined necessary by the Executive Director
Responsibilities:
Member of an interdisciplinary team whose purpose is to provide an appropriate program for children with disabilities and their families.
Evaluate and apply evidencebased practices to support educational programming designed to provide the student with a free and appropriate public education.
Communicate clearly in giving and receiving oral/written instruction
Demonstrate adaptability in relations with coworkers
Exhibit an accepting and nonthreatening attitude and cultural sensitivity to children and families
Demonstrate the ability to appropriately manage behavior and create an appropriate learning environment which will support students to attain their educational goals.
Demonstrate professional behavior consistent with the professional code of ethics and the District policy and procedures.
Must be willing to travel/use your own vehicle for transportation.
