Job Description
What We Are Looking For
The Senior Marketing Specialist supports the Baylor School of Music by assisting in the coordination and delivery of internal and external communications reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications. This position contributes to the production of print and digital marketing materials supports social media activity and assists with the promotion of performances and school initiatives in alignment with Baylor Universitys brand and mission.
A Bachelors degree and one year of relevant work experience is required. A Bachelors degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and support a wide range of internal and external marketing communications initiatives for the Baylor School of Music
- Provide editorial graphic design scheduling and production assistance for social media posts email campaigns print collateral and digital content
- Develop and produce performancerelated materials including posters programs signage and newsletters
- Serve as a contributor to the consistency of Baylor Universitys brand across all marketing touchpoints
- Support the work of student assistants and collaborate with School of Music faculty staff and marketing partners
- Contribute to creative solutions for School of Music communication projects and maintain project expectations
- Contribute to the overall quality of the School of Musics communication efforts by supporting team projects as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
