We are currently seeking A Long Term Special Education Substitute Teacher for August 18th to approximately December 1st.
Pay is $231.14 per day.
MUST HAVE a Missouri Substitute Certificate to be concidered.

POSITION SUMMARY (Primary purpose of job)
Substitute teachers are responsible for providing direct instruction to students and maintaining an environment conducive to learning. They are responsible for implementing substitute plans as written by the teacher.
SPHERE AND SCOPE OF INFLUENCE (Supervisory scope district impact and budgetary responsibility)
Substitute teachers are responsible for supervising students implementation of the District curriculum and assessment plan and utilizing resources accordingly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (Major duties which the position exists to perform)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise students at all times and/or as directed by the supervisor
Supervise events as described above and/or directed by the supervisor
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (Minimum educational requirements licenses skills and experience required as well as preferred options)
Bachelor degree or higher preferred
Valid Missouri substitute teaching certification required multiple teaching certifications preferred
DISTRICT EXPECTATIONS

PHYSICAL RELATED REQUIREMENTS
The candidate should be able to move in and around the classroom building District buildings and campus locations. Consistent attendance as well as general functioning in a school setting.

The candidate should have the ability to maintain confidentiality communicate clearly both orally and in writing utilize District resources including District issued technology and programs required to fulfill the essential job duties.
