Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with diverse abilities
JOIN OUR TEAM to provide job training and coaching services for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to pursue attain and retain employment for independent living.
Compensation: $24$25/hr (based on education and experience)
Opportunities Available in: Santa Clara County and San Mateo County
Schedule: Fulltime positions Monday Friday 8:30 am 5:30 pm

ABOUT THE ROLE What we value:
- Employment Skills Coaching: Provide oneonone individualized coaching at various employment sites in San Mateo County explore career interests acquire a job and work independently. Tailor vocational instruction and supports to adapt to individual needs and learning styles.
- PersonCentered Planning:Partner with people served in developing and implementing individualized support plans. Collaborate with team members adults served families and interdisciplinary teams to set vocational goals track progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure each persons unique needs and aspirations are addressed in relation to working.
- Work Readiness: Collaborate with individuals served interdisciplinary service team members and support networks to explore career interests create job development goals strategies and tools for applying for and working in a job independently.
- Community Integration: Promote opportunities for community engagement related to work and relationship building and act as an advocate for promoting inclusion and equitable work opportunities in professional spaces.
- Celebrate Progress: Document learning and goal progress for adults with disabilities in case management system.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

- 1 years previous work or volunteer experience supporting adults with disabilities
- Previous experience in professional settings and work environments
- Associate degree or working towards completion

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid California Drivers License/ID
- Proof of negative TB test results
- Verification of occupational physical clearance
- Pass a criminal fingerprint clearance
- 18 years of age or job permit clearance
- This position requires use of your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement available)
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
Instructor responsibilities include the physical support of children:
- Physical stamina to engage in work activities in various work environments.
- Ability to drive vehicle and transport adults with disabilities
- Lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
