Role description:

Arcadis is seeking an Asset Management Consultant to join our Resilience Water Team and work on a variety of engagements with our Water Asset Management practice.

We are interested in candidates in Virginia Beach chosen candidate can expect to work independently as part of our Consulting teamsas well as on teams staffed with IT professionals engineers and scientists from various backgrounds locations specialties and experience levels. Some tasks such as addressing requests for assistance require a combination of technical and nontechnical skills. The ideal candidate will be a selfmotivated teamoriented and flexible individual that possesses the initiative and ability to take on new projects learn new skills independently troubleshoot issues and can expect to tackle other challenges regularly.

Role accountabilities:

As part of the national water asset management team your role will involve planning and delivering asset management solutions for clients in the water and wastewater infrastructure sector. You will work on various projects related to water and wastewater treatment facilities evaluations utilities assessments and capital improvement planning. In addition to the previously mentioned responsibilities your role will also include:

  • Ensuringdata integrity and credibility for analysis and reporting
  • Developing automated applications to increase team productivity
  • Coordinatinginformation requirements within the team
  • Providingtechnical support to asset management professionals

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience
  • B.S. in Engineering Management Information Systems or Engineering Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of database functionality and information systems
  • Proficiency in relational databases (SQL Server Access or others)
  • Skills in data analytics (Power BI Tableau or others) data processing and data cleaning
  • Strong analytical communication and team management skills
  • Knowledge of public works assets water and wastewater process equipment distribution and collection system assets
  • Consulting experience with an environmental engineering or management consulting firm or equivalent experience with a medium/large municipal utility
  • Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or MBA.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $60000 $100000/year. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
