Job Description
St. Augustine School a Blue Ribbon and Top Workplaceand 2024 recipient located in Elkridge Maryland has an opening for a Kindergarten Teacher for theschool year.
The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for teaching all subjects monitoring the progress of students and other aspects of classroom preparation and organization. Knowledge of classroom technology and learning strategies is an asset.
Essential Functions
- Follow the guidelines and tenets of the Catholic Church and the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- Provide supervision for the homeroom before and at the end of the day.
- Instruct gradespecific classes in ELA math science social studies and religion classes (if Catholic).
- Recess and lunch duties as scheduled.
- Attend faculty meetings as scheduled.
- Attend various school events such as Back to School Night graduation and Open House.
Position Qualifications
- A practicing Catholic is preferred but not required.
- Maryland certified or willing to pursue MD certification.
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree.
Pay Range:$48000$52000 Annualized
