Job Description
SportsCare and Armworks Physical and Hand Therapy is a busy outpatient clinic with opportunities for growth and leadership. We are looking for a warm and inviting smile to welcome our patients and a sharp mind to process patient paperwork and keep the clinic front desk running smoothly in our Portland Metro area clinic.
The ideal candidate has a heart for helping patients and providers is ready and willing to work independently to accomplish the task at hand and has experience working at the front desk of a medical clinic.
Job responsibilities:
- Maintain/work all patient accounts to zero
- Respond to patient questions and concerns via phone and email
- Process patient refunds financial hardships and collections
- Post payments/adjustments to accounts as needed
Qualifications :
- Must be a high school graduate
- One or more years in billing and/or collections in a hospital or physician practice setting.
- Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills take initiative and demonstrate wellestablished customer service skills
Additional Information :
Fulltime with benefits 40 hours a week Monday through Friday
Hourly rate: $23 $26 dependent upon experience
