Job Description

This position will be within the MAT friction group engineering department. The candidate would assist MAT engineering team the job functions to support Brake Pads/friction business.

Pay range: $14 17 per hour based on year in school

Principle Responsibilities

  • Friction material testing preparation planning work request.
  • Testing result data analysis reporting.
  • Engineering documentation change request 2D CAD drawings review and PPAP.
  • Apply 3D scanner to improve engineering process.

Qualifications :

Competencies

  • Well organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint Word and Excel.
  • Some experience with CAD and some related software such as AutoCAD.
  • With strong engineering fundamentals able to apply engineering principals to friction products.

Education/Experience:

  • Junior/Senior University Engineering school working toward BSME
