How You Can Outdo Yesterday
In keeping with Pfizers purpose to deliver breakthroughs that change patients lives Commercial Operations is responsible for enabling transformational marketing capabilities.
Samples are a key marketing tool that allow HCPs to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Pfizer products in appropriate patients. You will be responsible for ensuring that samples carried and distributed by United States sales representatives are compliant with US/state regulations and Pfizer policy.
How You Will Use Your Power for Purpose
You will support and empower sales representatives for compliant receipt storage and distribution of physical samples in the US through:
Sales representative inventory management & monitoring
- Manage annual inventories
- Manage random inventory audits
- Oversee reconciliation of inventory discrepancies
Resolution of field sales sample issues and facilitation of best practices including:
- Shipment and storage incidents
- HCP disbursement transactions
- Inventory transfers
- Thefts
- Storage requirements
Conducting physical sample tracking and compiling tracking and trending reports
Managing third party vendor activities around sample inventories reconciliations and sample transaction document retention
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree required with 5 years experience
- Experience in pharmaceuticals and/or other regulated industries; Pfizer experience preferred
- Experience working on crossfunctional teams to deliver solutions and gain alignment without direct authority
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to various stakeholders
- A keen eye for detail ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our sample management processes while managing against tight deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong operational skills to problem solve drive efficiency and improvement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with sample compliance regulations
- Strong vendor management skills including the ability to ensure vendors meet all SLAs and contractual agreements
