Commercial Divisional Vice President SoutheastPosition Overview
Shaw Industries is seeking an experienced high impact Divisional Vice President to lead our Southeast region across both the Shaw Contract and Patcraft brands. In this role you would be responsible for leading and managing the largest Commercial Sales Division within Shaw Industries. This is more than a leadership role its your opportunity to inspire influence and innovate across a region that includes Georgia Florida Alabama Tennessee North Carolina South Carolina Virginia Maryland and Washington D.C.
The role of the Commercial Divisional Vice President at Shaw is pivotal in driving the companys success and growth in the competitive commercial market. This leadership position which is a crucial role on our commercial leadership team is not just about overseeing daily sales function; it is about crafting and executing a visionary strategy that aligns with Shaw Commercials longterm goals. Our DVPs are responsible for spearheading innovative initiatives that enhance customer engagement streamline processes and boost profitability. By leveraging market insights and fostering a culture of excellence this role ensures that Shaw Commercial remains at the forefront of industry trends and customer needs. The strategic decisions made by our DVPs directly impact the companys market share brand reputation and overall financial performance making it an indispensable part of Shaws leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Drive and execute the strategic Commercial objectives within your division. Measure the progress and implement any necessary changes.
Responsible for sales of all product lines within Shaw Commercial brands in the Southeast division.
Oversight of a regional showroom in Atlanta.
Partner with the Marketing and Design teams to promote brands products experiences and services.
Develop customer relationships with particular emphasis on executive sponsorship of key accounts.
Monitor division profitability and address where needed.
Lead a team of 9 high caliber sales leaders.
Create an environment for RVP and Account Managers to grow individually and professionally.
Prepare a Monthly Business Report outlining business conditions within the region and action to be taken to ensure sales objectives are met.
Attract retain and develop key talent.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 5 years management experience
10 years of sales experience or applicable commercial leadership experience
Ability to travel as needed to support the demands of the business
Preferred location Northwest Georgia or within the division
Industry experience preferred
