CNC Lathe Machinist Lead
Direct Hire Western Suburbs of the Twin Cities $45$50/hour DOE
Join a wellestablished and growing manufacturing company located in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities. We are currently seeking a skilled Lead CNC Lathe Machinist to oversee the daytoday operations of our CNC turning department and drive productivity quality and team development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines and equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide handson support to team members.
- Analyze and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and throughput.
- Read and interpret blueprints specifications and job orders; assign tasks accordingly.
- Manage and balance labor resources to meet production schedules and ensure ontime delivery.
- Recommend improvements in production methods equipment and product quality.
- Provide onthejob training and mentorship to CNC operators and team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support goal setting and development plans.
- Collaborate with the Quality Department to address and resolve part discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience operating CNC lathes.
- 3 years in a lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; a technical degree or certification is a plus.
- Strong problemsolving communication and leadership skills.
