Reports to Head of Quality Control

Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a strategic Lean roadmap for the Quality Control department.
- Lead and facilitate Lean initiatives to optimize processes improve quality and enhance productivity.
Lean Project Management:
- Identify prioritize and implement Lean projects that drive value and align with organizational objectives.
- Guide project teams through Lean transformation processes ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project impact and success.
Training and Development:
- Conduct Lean training sessions and workshops to educate and empower QC team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring and coaching individuals and teams in Lean principles.
Process Mapping and Waste Reduction:
- Utilize value stream mapping and other Lean tools to identify inefficiencies and waste in the QC processes.
- Design and execute strategies to eliminate nonvalueadded activities and streamline workflows.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including production engineering and quality assurance to support Lean initiatives.
- Communicate Lean objectives and progress to stakeholders across different levels of the organization promoting engagement and alignment.
Sustainability and Continuous Improvement:
- Ensure the sustainability of Lean improvements through effective change management and standardization practices.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by regularly assessing processes and identifying opportunities for additional Lean applications.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field and 5 years of experience in using Lean Six Sigma and related methodologies to drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence initiatives across an organization required.
- BlackBelt Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in quality control preferred.
- Proven track record of leading successful Lean transformations in a GMPregulated environment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience working effectively at all organizational levels.

- Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
- Onsite attendance is required.
