We are currently seeking a FullTime Help Desk Level 1 for our West Jordan UT office.


Audio Enhancements Help Desk Level 1 will be the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance from the IT Department. This position will primarily be responsible for the addressing daily trouble tickets including the resolution of basic hardware and software issues through troubleshooting password resets and account management while escalating more complex problems to higher level support teams when necessary. The position requires strong communication skills and a foundational understanding of IT systems.


Duties Include:

  • Respond to and resolve all daily tickets submitted to the Help Desk.
  • Monitor and maintain the Help Desk ticketing system.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on user devices including software and hardware issues.
  • Troubleshoot and identify the source of computer problems document resolutions for future reference.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and the IT department to ensure effective issue resolution.
  • Escalate more advanced issues and troubleshooting tasks to the Network & Systems Administrator team as appropriate.
  • Conduct some network and systems troubleshooting as needed.
  • Document all incidents and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Meet established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience troubleshooting computers and related systems.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware networking and the Windows operating system.
  • Ability to quickly learn and support new applications and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to triage prioritize and escalate technical incidents as needed.
  • Solid decisionmaking skills and the ability to recognize when to seek assistance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills including the ability to document issues and resolutions clearly and professionally.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong aptitude for learning and adapting to new challenges.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid state drivers license.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly wage is negotiable based on skill level and experience.
