We are seeking a talented individual to join us at Guy Carpenter. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Engagement Lead Reinsurance team. This is a hybrid role that can be based in either our NYC or Philly offices.

As the Senior Vice President Senior Engagement Lead you will be a key subject matter expert within our organization. You will utilize your extensive industry and claims expertise and reinsurance knowledge to offer strategic guidance and risk mitigation solutions to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

We will count on you to:

• To drive training mentoring and guidance within the team for all aspects of reinsurance service processing.
• Be an expert in the industry who can represent the company in client and industry speaking engagements to enhance our reputation.
• Collaborates with Legal and Compliance Departments to identify assess and address complex risks reporting back to facilitate mitigation.
• To counsel on inputs for evolving the operational model promoting process improvement ideas and solutions leveraging technology.
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our global claims consulting practice.
• Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients providing expert guidance on complex claims issues reinsurance structures and risk management strategies.
• Team Culture: Foster a culture of collaboration excellence and continuous learning.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough analysis of claims data trends and exposures to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders including brokers underwriters actuaries and legal counsel to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of services to clients.
• Industry Advocacy: Stay abreast of industry developments emerging trends and regulatory changes impacting claims management and reinsurance and represent the company in industry forums and events.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients understanding their unique needs and challenges and proactively identifying opportunities to add value.

What you need to have:

• Bachelors degree or experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in leading timely management of tasks to ensure adherence to Client measurement Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Strong ability to understand interpret and present complex technical information to Senior Management and company Leadership.
• 15 years of experience in claims management within the insurance or reinsurance industry with a focus on complex commercial lines and global operations.
• Proven track record of leadership and success in managing claims and delivering highquality client service.
• Deep understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles practices and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Professional certifications such as CPCU ARe or ARM are highly desirable.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Officebased teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $131000 to $237500.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications education and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a casebycase basis. In addition to the base salary this position may be eligible for performancebased incentives.
