Our Ventura Repair team is looking for candidates to perform depot level inspections maintenance troubleshooting and repair in support of a missile Command Launch Unit and training devices and indepth Circuit Card troubleshooting and repair with and without a Test Station at two locations in Los Angeles CA.

What You Will Do

  • Assisting with troubleshooting and repairing various types of cable harnesses electronic and electrooptical assemblies.
  • Analyzing equipment failures to determine root cause and recommending corrective action.
  • Reading and working with schematics engineering drawings written and oral work instructions.
  • Assisting with incorporating hardware and software modifications on tactical training and test and support equipment resulting from changes in engineering design and obsolescence.
  • Assisting in the development of new test procedures and test equipment while providing input effecting design changes to improve process efficiency or reduce cost.
  • Performing effectively in a positive team environment with Technical and Engineering personnel and as an individual contributor.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience with electronics troubleshooting testing and / or repair
  • Experience with schematics blueprints or written and / or oral rework instructions

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with electronic assembly test tools and/or materials
  • Proficient in the use of standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and DVM
  • Experience with root cause / corrective action and /or failure analysis
  • Current DoD clearance
  • Solder Certified and Cable / Harness Certified or be eligible to receive certification.
  • Ability to perform and communicate effectively in a team environment

The hourly rate for this role is $35 to $69. The compensation range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
