A. Earned MA or MS degree from an accredited institution by date of appointment. B. Native or nearnative fluency in ASL
Preferred Qualifications
A. Earned MA or MS degree from an accredited institution in American Sign Language Studies Deaf/Deaf Culture Studies ASL Linguistics Special Education with training in ASL or related field B. Earned doctoral degree in American Sign Language Studies Deaf/Deaf Culture Studies ASL Linguistics or related field. C. ASLPI 4 or better. D. One year experience teaching ASL in the K12 community college/university setting E. Familiarity with Signing Naturally curriculum F. Have a strong involvement in the Deaf community.
