Introduction to the role:
The Franchise Director for Insights & Analytics within our Breast Cancer Franchise is a pivotal position responsible for generating transformative insights that influence business strategies. This role will have direct oversight of market research forecasting and analytics for Small Molecule indications while leading a team to deliver comprehensive insights and strategic counsel to the Marketing & Sales team.
Accountabilities:
Lead market research forecasting and analytics to support the Breast Cancer franchise
Strategically partner with franchise leaders to develop brand strategies
Manage and optimize primary and secondary research initiatives to drive evidencebased marketing decisions
Present comprehensive insights and strategic recommendations to senior management
Develop and manage talent within the Insights & Analytics team
Essential skills/experience:
Bachelors degree with a preference for a quantitative field (e.g. Engineering Data Science Statistics Math Economics Computer Science Operations Research)
7 years of experience at a pharmaceutical / biotechnology manufacturer or working in the biopharmaceutical industry (e.g. management consulting market research data/analytics investment banking)
6years of primary market research and analytical experience applying varied primary research techniques and secondary information analysis
Proven ability to influence laterally and vertically
Desired skills/experience:
Advanced degree in a quantitative field or Advanced Marketing Degree (e.g. MBA)
Pharmaceutical or consumer insight experience
Experience working in Oncology
Experience leading crossfunctional teams
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $181503 to $272255. Hourly and salaried nonexempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. In addition our positions offer a shortterm incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equitybased longterm incentive program (salaried roles) to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles) and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program 401(k) plan; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and health benefits including medical prescription drug dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
