Job Title: Campus Registrar Exemption Status/Test: Nonexempt
Reports to: Principal Date Revised: 3/2024
Dept./School: Assigned Campus Pay Grade/Days: Clerical 1/ 216
Primary Purpose:
Maintain accurate student records for the campus. Under direct supervision perform data entry
including attendance with knowledge of the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook Public
Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data and grades. Process student enrollment
transfers and withdrawals for the campus.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets perform data analysis and do word processing.
Proficient in keyboarding 10key numerical data entry and file maintenance.
Strong and Effective organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual preferred.
Experience:
Data entry experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records and Reports
1. Collect and enter attendance and PEIMS data into an established database and verify accuracy
according to established procedures.
2. Assist parents students and faculty with questions regarding student attendance discipline and
demographics. .
3. Compile maintain and file all (both physical and electronic) reports records and other documents as
required including: attendance reports truancy documentation class or personnel rosters
endofsemester reports enrollments withdrawals transfers and substitute lists.

4. Maintain confidentiality.
5. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
6. Call parents to verify student absences as needed. Report all attendance problems to the designated
Administrator.
7. Work directly with staff responsible for student attendance and truancy responsibilities by providing data
and reports as requested.
8. Administer medication to students check temperatures and notify parents of student illness in nurses
absence.
9. Use a positive approach in all customer service transactions
10. Assist Principals Secretary as needed.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping pushing/pulling and twisting
Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)
Environment: Work is performed in an office setting; may require occasional irregular and/or prolonged
hours
Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions
