What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Product Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Product Designer at CoStar you will play a pivotal role in designing solutions that provide CRE professionals with the tools they need to make informed decisions stay updated with industry news and take strategic actions.
This position is located in Richmond VA and in office Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Product Managers Engineers and Researchers to understand user needs and business requirements.
- Conduct user research usability testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improvements.
- Develop datarich wireframes prototypes and highfidelity designs for new features and enhancements to existing products.
- Create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that prioritize user experience and accessibility.
- Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Quickly iterate on designs based on user feedback data analysis and industry trends.
- Contribute to the design system and ensure consistency across the product.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in design HCI or related field from an accredited notforprofit University or College.
- 2 years of experience with product design humancomputer interaction usability and user interface design and/or visual design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing endtoend design projects including user research wireframes prototypes and final designs.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Knowledge of usercentered design principles and user research techniques
- Proficiency in using and contributing to a design system.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the commercial real estate.
- Portfolio includes work that features lots of data data visualization and functionality related to workflows.
- Understanding of data visualization principles and tools for representing complex data values in a clear and detailed manner.
- Evidence of strong academic performance in college.
