Location: Dumbo Brooklyn (Hybrid: 23 days in office per week based on your schedule and the teams needs)
Reporting to: Senior Manager Campaign Marketing
Program Dates: 36 months; start and end dates are flexible
Compensation: $16 per hour
Hours:

• Summer (JuneAugust): Fulltime up to 40 hours per week
• Fall (SeptemberDecember): Parttime 20 hours per week

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is your chance to dive into the world of social media within the beauty industry! As a Social Media Intern at Soko Glam youll play an integral role in supporting our daytoday content creation community engagement and campaign execution across key platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Youll collaborate closely with the campaign and creative teams to bring our brand voice to life online while gaining valuable handson experience in content planning social storytelling and trendspotting. This role is ideal for someone creative organized and social mediasavvy whos eager to build skills in digital marketing and brand communications.

Throughout the internship youll be paired with a dedicated supervisor who will provide training feedback and guidance on projects. Youll also participate in professional development opportunities gain exposure to various business functions and have the chance to engage with senior leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with planning scheduling creating and publishing social content across Instagram TikTok and other platforms
• Monitor and engage with our social media community in a brandaligned timely and thoughtful way
• Research and present social trends influencer content and competitive activity to the team for content ideation and creation
• Support content shoots and help organize visual assets and UGC
• Track performance metrics and contribute to postcampaign reporting and insights
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with marketing creative and CX to support larger campaigns and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

• Available to work fulltime hours during the summer and parttime hours during the fall if extending internship
• Able to work onsite at our Dumbo Brooklyn office a few days per week
• Strong written and visual communication skills
• Deep familiarity with social platforms especially TikTok Instagram and YouTube
• Proficiency in social content creation and editing
• Creative thinker with a pulse on digital culture and emerging trends
• Highly organized detailoriented and able to juggle multiple tasks
• Proactive collaborative and excited to learn
• Interest in beauty skincare and/or lifestyle brands is a plus
• Comfortable using tools like Google Docs Sheets and Slides; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus

Hourly Rate: $16.00/hour
