More specific duties include:
Production Scheduling.
Overseeing the ERP system.
Coordinating the purchase of raw materials and component parts and the workflow of parts.
Analyzing existing material workflow and looking for ways to improve workflows.
Performing analytical and reporting exercises including time and motion studies.
Monitoring Kanban levels and creating production and withdrawal cards to maintain availability storage accuracy and work order release.
Assisting with the overall flow of production and materials for the assigned cell; facilitating communication between the production floor purchasing and engineering team supporting the cell.
Identifying supply chain issues impacting cell performance and driving actions to restore the schedule.
Identifying process improvements for hardware cycle counts.
Maintaining processes at the cutoff work center for tube and bar stock orders.
Maintaining a streamlined process for displaying schedule priorities throughout the Tube processing manufacturing Cell.
Assisting in optimizing production staging areas.
Continuous analysis of shipments to consolidate loads and maximize cost savings.
Serving as the subject matter expert in material requirements for production and ERP movement of materials including troubleshooting system issues and misallocations.
Training staff on relevant processes including process updates. Ensuring that other parties perform IPR and QPR and correct the bill of material problems.
Reviewing inventory and demand to establish the effectiveness for part number changes of ECROs. (BOM Demand & Inventory analysis skills).
Conducting analysis in support of ECR/ED activity identify and incorporate points of change.
MF 40 hrs./wk. 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Systems or related field. 2 yearsof experience in production for aerospace manufacturing for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. 2 years of experience reviewing raw materials demand (aluminum Inconel Nitronic and Stainless Steel) for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. 2 years of experience pulling reports such as: Open Jobs Master Scheduled Hours Orders with Unissued Parts Planned Orders Product Shortages and Discrepancy Reports for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. 2 years of experience validating inventory counts in ERP system and making adjustments as required for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. 2 years of experience conducting yearend inventory audits. 2 years of experience reconciling physical inventories with quantities in the ERP system.
