Under the general guidance of the Director of Sales the Sales Coordinator will support the Sales Department. This position will be responsible for providing guests fellow team members and vendors with superior customer service administrative support to respective departments and will source creative and strategic ideas as needed. The Person in this role must be highly organized efficient task oriented a quick learner and capable of multitasking. This position must also maintain a professional appearance as they may be called upon to meet a guest in the lobby. In addition to being heavy on administration duties this position will spend a good portion of the time on special projects.
Qualifications :
- Answer the phones as needed using proper phone etiquette at all times in a timely manner.
- Monitor and respond to emails from Mondrian LA general and sales email box.
- Assist with creating and inputting group and production room lists
- Review and ensuring customer information is up to date
- Audit rates on OTA sites to check or parity.
- Sort and distribute mail fax.
- Responsible for VIP reservations directed by sales manager.
- Ensure department maintains adequate inventory for press kits.
- Assist other coordinators with special projects for internal and external customers
- Handle all apartment/penthouse/long-term requests
- Any other reasonable request made by management that facilitates the operations for the department/hotel.
- Compile and maintain current client mailing list and contact details in Sales operating system.
- Organize promotional activities for new products/services/marketing campaigns. Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events.
- Generate and distribute various sales reports and statistical analysis as requested.

Specific Job Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelors Degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years of hotel sales experience preferred
- Ability to multitask work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be able to use computer and have familiarity with Office Tools.
- Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
- Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
- Thorough knowledge of federal state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights occupational safety and health wage and hour issues and labor relations.
Salary range - $25.00 to $26.00

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Ennismore from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
