Job Description
This role is responsible for designing and maintaining reporting systems that support datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis business reporting and database management with experience in the real estate industry preferred.
As a key member of our team you will develop standard and ad hoc reports monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) ensure data consistency across platforms and communicate actionable insights to leadership. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel PowerBI and SQL is essential along with the ability to manage large data sets and identify trends that support strategic business initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Design business analysis and data reporting systems for use throughout the organization
- Create standard and ad hoc business reports that provide insight into key data points
- Formulating and adjusting KPIs as the business evolves
- Assist in maintaining accounting and operational databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
- Ensure data consistency and mitigate any data discrepancies between and among various reporting platforms
- Create exception reporting throughout multiple business units to create a proactive business environment
- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in computer science real estate Business or any other related fields
- Strong and demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced formula creation pivot tables filtering sorting setting proper data structure for formula efficiency) required;
- Knowledge of Google Query Language VBA and SQL preferred
- PowerBI report building experience required
- Understanding of relational database structures also helpful
- Excellent data management and problemsolving skills. Detailoriented and meticulous while working with large sets of data
- Able to identify different types of trends and patterns by utilizing reconciliation techniques that ensure data integrity between reports
- 35 years of experience within the real estate industry residential or commercial or related field
- Azure cloud experience preferred
- Yardi experience highly preferred
OTHER RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to effectively interpret and communicate information derived from data sets
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate highlevel conceptual material
