Job Description

The VP of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies leading a marketing team and driving brand awareness and revenue growth.  

Primary duties include:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to align with business goals and increase brand awareness.
  • Develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies tactics and resources necessary to achieve system and goals.
  • Provide leadership and/or support on the design development and implementation of products and material.
  • Oversee and provide direction to market and competitor analysis.
  • Provide leadership direction and management of the market research function.
  • Experience in traditional marketing including print direct mail radio television and eventbased promotions.
  • Expertise in brand development ensuring consistency across messaging visual identity and audience engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of market research methodologies to assess brand perception and competitive landscapes.
  • Create an institutional and systemwide marketing reporting function that can track measure and analyze performance.
  • Ensure all marketing communications are coordinated supports marketing plan objectives and manages effective expenditure of resources.
  • Set current and longterm goals for internal teams.
  • Provide input and support to the companys leadership in the development of joint ventures affiliations and partnership arrangements.
  • Provide marketing skills and expertise to the company by building developing and managing a marketing team capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Lead and manage the marketing team ensuring efficient execution of campaigns.
  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog for all assigned projects based on business value.
  • Design and oversee the marketing budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively.
  • Monitor and improve marketing campaigns ensuring they meet objectives.
  • Conduct research to identify trends challenges and opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with other departments to align strategies.
  • Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies.
  • Experience in B2B2C marketing developing strategies that effectively engage both business partners and end consumers.
  • Develop and execute multilayered marketing campaigns that enhance brand positioning for business clients while simultaneously driving consumer demand and fostering customer loyalty.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this position.
  • Performs other jobrelated duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications :

  • 12 years of demand generation and/or customer acquisition for highgrowth companies.
  • 5 years of people management experience.
  • Proven track record in senior marketing roles as either a Marketing Director or VP.
  • Experience using technology integration and automation tools such as Zapier Integromat Make.
  • Exceptional quantitative and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data overcome data noise and make data driven decisions.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO web analytics and Google Adwords.
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required: Pivot Tables VLOOKUP SUMIF formulas.
  • Email marketing with knowledge of current trends and industry best practices.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or related field required.

Additional Information :

Position Details: This is a fulltime salaried position (40 hours/week). 

Work Schedule: Hybrid onsite at the Temecula office Tuesday through Thursday; remote work from home on Mondays and Fridays

Pay:  The pay range for this position is a minimum of $160000 to a maximum of $190000 based on a fulltime schedule.  The actual compensation offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills qualifications experience and location.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly communicating and conversing with members/stakeholders/management and must be able to exchange accurate information appropriately. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position occasionally move about; and constantly operate a computer or other office equipment. The employee is regularly required to push or otherwise move up to 1030lbs of various equipment.  Applications may include but are not limited to repetitive work operating a computer keyboard mouse and headphones while primarily maintaining a stationary position and occasionally moving about at an assigned work desk area.
