Responsibilities
The Senior Lead Advisor interfaces with multiple crossfunctional teams including Marketing Product Development Communications Community Impact and the Healthcare Business Solutions Team. The ability to multitask work effectively in crossfunctional teams knowledge of budgets program reporting volunteer management market research product development and program coordination are essential. The lead will be responsible for overall operations of the grant program including but not limited to: (1) maintaining fiscal oversight and adherence to established budgets (2) development and maintenance of contracts (3) partnership development with community organizations (4) design and conduct of focus groups (5) development of educational curriculum with communitybased partners (6) working with vendors to create new educational products designed for community from start to finish (7) working with the team and community partners to pilot and fully implement educational programs (8) designing and applying metrics to demonstrate success as measured by health impact awareness engagement recruitment and retention as appropriate and (9) responsible for owning and integrating a collaborative matrix team that functions among departments and across the enterprise to meet grant objectives as well as organization goals.
The Senior Lead Advisor will manage the science consultant(s) volunteers and experts who will develop the grant deliverables. The Senior Lead Advisor will also serve as a key liaison and point of contact with the grantor the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry and the Opioid Response Network.
Management of the AAAP Grant:
- Oversight of the budget and adherence to federal grant standards
- Ensuring monthly reporting requirements of budget and outcomes to the grantor
- Lead for all operational aspects of the grant including coordination of all activities for the team strategic planning overseeing the focus groups and development of new educational products
- Utilizes WAMO and Optimus to manage different aspects of the grant
- Leads and maintains the relationship with community partners to ensure bidirectional communication with partners
- Lead communication and collaboration with internal national regional and local stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes.
- Manages the daytoday activities of the grant to ensure deliverables are met
Other responsibilities:
- Acts as the key point of contact for the granter and other national partners and represents the organization externally on issues related to the grant at the national level
- Provides senior leadership with recommendations for resource development project priorities and develops and implements an organizationwide strategic plan and goals for the grant
- Convenes crossassociation working groups to plan review progress identify issues and ensure coordinated work to accomplish grant goals
- Develops designs and tracks performance metrics for grants to measure achievement and success
- Guides and directs a matrix team in plan execution to assure integrated and cohesive results
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of and ability to perform administrative practices including the creation and management of databases typing and filing
- Computer use including Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint and Access.
- Demonstrated skills in basic math business English spelling grammar punctuation and proofreading
- Skills in written and oral communications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to initiate projects provide followthrough work with minimum supervision and devise alternative solutions as necessary.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment prioritize work assignments meet multiple deadlines and monitor several projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of meeting management
- Knowledge of project management
