In this role you will be working as a Purchasing agent supporting the Director of Purchasing for a client in the manufacturing industry. This position is responsible for finding/evaluating and purchasing of the best possible products and services for my client.
This position is a contract to possible perm position that must be performed on-site.
Job Requirements:
- Experience monitoring stock levels
- Ability to negotiate with and find vendors
- Ability to track all orders
- Experience creating purchase orders
- Experience identifying suppliers negotiating contracts and placing purchase orders
- Cost reduction background
- Supply chain knowledge would be very helpful
- Microsoft Office
