Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of software for our advanced cargo Xray security scanning systems. This is a handson technically challenging role with a strong emphasis on realtime control imaging and tight hardware/software integration.Job Description
Responsibilities
Lead the development of software components for image acquisition motion control diagnostics and user interfaces.
Drive system architecture decisions and ensure effective integration with Xray sources detectors and mechanical subsystems.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including hardware AI and customer support to deliver reliable fieldready systems.
Provide technical leadership through code reviews mentoring and project planning.
Support deployed systems through remote troubleshooting and field testing as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field.
10 years of experience in software development ideally in a product or systems environment.
Strong proficiency in C# and/or C including multithreading and performance optimization.
Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Preferred Experience
Background in imaging systems Xray or related domains.
Experience with GPU programming.
Experience with web development (frontend and/or backend).
Experience with cybersecurity principles and secure software development practices.
Comfortable supporting software deployed in field environment.
Experience Level with Business Tools
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: Email Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
