We are looking for an enthusiastic story teller to tell and share compelling stories about Indonesia and the vibrant Indonesian community members in Australia.
You will need to have current full working rights to work in Australia.
The Job
You will:
- Explore original story ideas from Indonesia and talk to members of the Indonesian community in Australia to strengthen our coverage about one of our closest neighbors. Indonesia coverage.
- Team up with other creative journalists and content makers across the Asia Pacific Newsroom to amplify voices from the region in exciting new ways.
- Collaborate across ABCs newsrooms and programs to craft bilingual content thats not just informative but fun and engaging for our audience.

About You
This role will perfect for someone who are passionate to create content in multiple media platform.
Youll bring:
- Fluency in spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia.
- Practical skills in media and content production including social media.
- Strong ability to gather and write news / content.
- A good grasp of digital news trend emerging media technologies and platforms.
- Insight into Indonesian audience behaviour including creative ideas to reach and grow new audiences.
- Willingness to adapt in a fastchanging digital media landscape environment.
