Job Description
Baxter Manufacturing a fullservice supplier to the automotive plastics industry located in Westminster SC has an opening in its Injection Mold Department for a 2nd Shift Supervisor. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Daytoday first line supervision of manufacturing employees in an automotive injection mold environment balances labor according to workload assures that safety quality and environmental procedures are being followed responsible for leading motivating coaching mentoring and treating workforce with respect maintaining confidentiality holds shift communication meetings responsible for production schedule attainment controlling scrap downtime OEE and labor utilization respond proactively with a high sense of urgency using good judgement to make sound decisions continually monitors work flow and productivity supports 6S efforts verifies training of employees creates and maintains various types of reports charts graphs production data enforces policies administers disciplinary actions conducts performance reviews interacts with other departments various levels of management and plant visitors.
