DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Benefits Operation Manager. Primary responsibility is focused on support of the benefits administrationaround health and welfare benefits Caesars 401(k) Plan flexible spending accounts (FSA) health saving account (HSA) life and disability and voluntary benefits. This role will work closely with the Corporate Benefits team and HR Leadership across Caesars properties on key benefits initiatives employee communications compliance and plan management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to Benefits Administrators Tickets/Workflows that may be validating data providing guidance or resolving issues.
- Respond to legal requests internal and external audit requests as appropriate. This may involve investigation or historical documents research.
- Responsible for monitoring and responding to the Corporate Benefits Email inbox that may involve investigating issues and resolving nonroutine situations.
- Audit verify and reconcile benefit enrollment reports reports for 401(k) deferrals and 401(k) loans with corresponding payroll deductions and assist with any necessary corrections.
- Provide Corporate Payroll with Payroll Adjustments of benefit plan refunds or corrections as applicable.
- Audit verify and reconcile Benefit Arrears reports and provide necessary action to the Benefits Administrator.
- Support and/or monitor file interfaces between internal (payroll IT HRIS) and external (Benefits Administrator 401k Recordkeeper and other H&W vendors) partners to ensure data integrity.
- Generate create or compile reports as needed.
- Maintain and log Benefits documentation in shared department folders.
- Assist with verification of benefits eligibility coverage for Social Security Administration forms that are handled by the Benefits Administrator.
- Assist Team Members understand benefit communications inperson via email and virtually and with escalated benefit inquiries to ensure quick equitable and courteous resolution.
- Assist in the annual benefits open enrollment process by auditing enrollments pre and post AE and working with benefits administrator on any needed corrections.
- Assist with program compliance with all state and federal legislation including but not limited to ERISA HIPAA ACA COBRA and DOL including appeals that may involve collaboration with third party administrators.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- At least 2 years of benefits experience is preferred but not required.
- Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding computer skills including but not limited to MS Excel and Word Webbased programs and tolls.
- Advancedlevel MS Excel a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
