Job Description
What youll do
- Troubleshoot and repair specialized mechanical electrical and electronic equipment across the facility.
- Perform and assist with the alignment and leveling of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate detailed updates on ongoing repairs to ensure smooth shift transitions.
- Collaborate with Facilities Engineers and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide technical support during the installation or rearrangement of production equipment.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent downtime.
- Continuously seek professional growth through training and selfstudy in electrical electronic and mechanical systems.
- Actively participate in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts focused on safety quality and productivity.
- Fulfill all other assigned duties and support teambased operations.
What youll bring
- Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology Mechanical Engineering Technology Mechatronics or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of fulltime experience in industrial machinery maintenance with strong troubleshooting skills (electrical electronic and mechanical)
- Proficient in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) computer numerical control (CNC) systems servo systems and conventional electrical/electronic controls.
- Experience with direct current drives machine programming cutting or grinding processes is highly desirable.
- Must pass a comprehensive maintenance technician aptitude test.
- Able and willing to work in a tobaccofree environment and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working overtime or weekend shifts as needed with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work 3rd shift (11PM 7AM).
Pay Rate: The pay for this position is $38.225 $39.438. This position is also eligible for shift premium when you work on an off shift i.e. 2nd or 3rd shift. Plus $1.00 USD an hour on top of base pay.
