ABOUT USLABBB Collaborative provides educational programming and support services for over 300 special needs students from over 65 districts. LABBB serves students ages 3 to 22 years old with a variety of special needs including students on the autism spectrum students with multihandicaps pervasive development disorders developmental delays language deficits and social/emotional challenges. ABOUT THE ROLE:The IT Manager (Applications & Process Improvement) will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organizations applications to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across departments. This position will play a key role in streamlining workflows ensuring seamless integration of educational and administrative software and supporting staff in leveraging technology to improve outcomes. Additionally the IT Manager will serve as a backup to the Educational Technology Coach/Help Desk staff providing technical support when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. Relevant experience of at least 5 years preferably in a public school environment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to identify problems and create viable solutions demonstrate proficiency in application management and process improvement and possess strong knowledge of educational technology platforms such as JAMF iPASS and Google Workspace. They must also have familiarity with assistive technology and its integration into educational settings experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and project management experience is a individual will also have experience with workflow analysis and automation tools the ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with all staff members outside vendors and stakeholders and function effectively in a fastpaced environment. Strong communication skills with the capacity to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences is necessary and past or current professional experience in a public school setting is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ManagementOversee the deployment configuration and maintenance of critical applications including JAMF iPass Google Workspace and other educational technology with departments to analyze needs and recommend software solutions that align with school data consistency integrity and compliance across application performance and work with vendors to resolve the evaluation and implementation of new technology initiatives to support special education ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in current workflows and recommend technologydriven solutions to enhance closely with staff to document and refine processes ensuring they align with best practices and organizational and implement automation strategies to reduce manual effort and improve operational and maintain process documentation training guides and support materials for Support & Backup ResponsibilitiesAct as a backup to the Educational Technology Coach/Help Desk staff to provide technical assistance to students and hardware and software issues related to Chromebooks iPads laptops and interactive enduser training and support on applications to ensure proper with device management and deployment using JAMF and other an organized ticketing system and prioritize support requests & CommunicationPartner with instructional staff to support the integration of technology into teaching and collaboratively with IT staff to align technology initiatives with the schools strategic technology updates policies and best practices to the school relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal & SecurityEnsure that all applications comply with school policies and relevant data privacy cybersecurity initiatives and contribute to the development of secure processes for data in implementing security measures to protect student and staff any other duties and assume other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Executive Director Director of Finance & Operations and the Chief Information Officer.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT/SALARY/WORK YEAR: This is a 12 month position with a competitive benefits package and a salary range between $80000 $90000.
