This is a temporary position.

Marriott is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead the development and management of our Guest Room Entertainment (GRE) products. These products enhance guest experiences by providing engaging inroom entertainment. As a Senior Manager Guest Room Entertainment you will act as the product owner focusing on user experience you will be responsible for writing grooming and validating user stories for the engineering team. You will also test these stories once the development work is completed to ensure they meet the desired outcomes. Finally youll ensure its alignment with other disciplines inside Marriott such as global operations and continent IT for hotel deployment and customer support and Marketing and Digital MarTech for content management workflows.

In this role you will drive the vision and strategy for GRE and Smart Screens ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our guests and properties. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your forwardlooking approach will help identify technology trends to optimize product availability and reduce development costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership:Develop own and maintain user stories and feature roadmap for GRE.
  • User Experience:Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across all digital touchpoints.
  • Lead Software Development:Lead agile development teams to design build and test the GRE application.
  • Integrate with Content Management processes:Engage with internal partners to enable content programming.
  • Technology Trends:Stay ahead of technology trends to optimize product availability and reduce development costs.
  • Agile Methodology:Implement agile practices to deliver against product strategy and support existing customers.
  • Crossfunctional Collaboration:Coordinate with peers to integrate features developed in other areas of OnSite Digital.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:5 years in Digital roles with understanding of Guest Room Entertainment landscape including hardware and software.
  • Product Management:3 years of product management experience including leading or managing consumerfacing products or features.
  • Leadership:Proven ability to lead influence and collaborate effectively in a matrixmanaged environment with multiple complementary groups.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit:Selfstarter with an entrepreneurial attitude capable of generating momentum and positive business outcomes in a large company setting.
  • Analytical Skills:Strong analytical organizational and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable plans that drive business results.
  • Customer Focus:A customerobsessed mindset that leverages user data to make significant improvements to platforms products and features.
  • Global Perspective:A global mindset that balances global solution orientation with an appreciation for local market and customer dynamics.
  • Digital Product Optimization:Experience with A/B testing continuous optimization and other methodologies to drive digital product improvements.
  • Education:Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product Background:Experience in product development and familiarity with Guest Room Entertanment / Technology environments or a product environment that includes HW and SW ecosystems.
  • Agile Development:Familiarity with scaled agile development environments including SAFe and its variants.
  • Analytics Tools:Experience with Adobe Analytics/Tableau/Snowflake and mobile analytics to support datadriven product and feature measurement performance and iteration.
  • International Experience:experience in developing and creating global solutions for local markets.
  • Advanced Degree:MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $52.06 to $85.14 per hour.
