TV Post Production helms and supervises the Television post process for Sony Picturesliveaction scripted shows. Our process begins while a show is being written and carriesthrough delivery to the Network and Studio. We work closely with several teams acrossSony Pictures Television such as TV Production Accounting Finance Production BusinessAffairs and TV Mastering ensuring every department receives what is needed. We are looking for a post coordinator to join our team.
Core responsibilities:
Manage the required episodic and seasonal wrap paperwork deliverablesthroughout the postproduction process for all SPT shows.
Coordinate & finalize deals for post team roles such as Assistant Editors and PostProduction Assistants.
Ensure all new hires for our shows receive their start paperwork promptly and verifyunion membership.
Lead wrap calls to ensure all postproduction tasks are completed effectively andon schedule.
Communicates with the leads on our Animated projects to set expectations of what deliverables various Sony teams will require.
Develop & refine internal tracking systems to enhance efficiency within thedepartment.
Maintain VFX & Post Cost trackers that reflect uptodate budgets from the variousshows.
Create VFX vendor contracts for each show.
Update the Combined Schedule weekly to reflect the latest cut dates & changes.
Oversee documents within Scenechronize to ensure they are properly organizedaccessible and up to date.
Keep the Post Production Guide up to date.
Provide the latest scripts to the head of the department each week.
Act as the departments first point of contact handling incoming callsprofessionally and ensuring effective communication
