Summary: *Development Plan Opportunity*

Classification Summary:
Under supervision performs work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult but usually involves limited responsibility. Responsible for overall systems infrastructure including engineering implementation and integration and technical services and support.
Classification Standard Duties:
Designs implements/installs maintains and administers infrastructures including hardware software and various configurations. Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures. Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. Generally focuses on projects for one of the following disciplines: Unix Windows AS400 storage reporting testing middleware or other software.
Required Education Experience Certification/License Equivalency

Job Duties and Responsibilities
In partnership with functional users and IT Governance manage and maintain the NMSU enterprise identity and access management (IAM) platform. Connect and integrate various data sources such as directories databases and applications into the IAM system to ensure seamless identity management. Develop and maintain mapping rules to align data from different sources with IAM requirements. Monitor IAM platform activity and perform regular audits. Collaborate with other IT team members to design and implement IAM solutions that meet business requirements. Plan and implement upgrades or enhancements to IAM platforms to improve functionality and security. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve system reliability and performance. Document system configurations procedures and changes to maintain an accurate and comprehensive knowledge base.

Preferred Qualifications
ITIL is preferred
Experience developing and implementing automation workflows is preferred
