The Copywriter will report to the Creative Manager and will play a critical role in thestrategy ideation and copywriting of YETIs creative work. We are seeking a creative individual who uses conceptual highlevel thinking to craft compelling and wellwritten content that spans across all marketing channels. The ideal candidate will partner with an Art Director as well work independently on projects.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with creative team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of YETIs branding marketing and advertising initiatives
Brainstorm concept collaborate and present innovative creative marketing and advertising work that garners buyin achieving measurable results
Create strategic marketing assets for projects including but not limited to: product packaging digital campaigns (emails social & performance media content etc.) retail displays and video content
Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective brand communication
Present ideas in a clear and focused manner that builds consensus with the team
Be a steward of and maintain the YETI brand voice and guidelines
Must be a team player able to work within budgets and tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fastpaced environment
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelors degree required
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an advertising or inhouse copywriting role
Experience with consumer product brands is preferred
Experience in digital marketing/advertising
You can quickly grasp and bring to life the brand voice
Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems even when they are not fully defined
Ability to present and sell creative ideas
Accuracy and attention to detail in writing and overall craft
A solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles
Excellent time management and organizational skills including accuracy and attention to detail
You know how to deliver the best idea and understand the nuances of each communication channel and platform
Optimistic energetic and possesses the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
Ability to actively contribute to the creative brief strategic brainstorming campaign development and creative expressions of the YETI brand
