Flexion Inc. a Madison WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to work on a longterm consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison WI.

Duties for this position will include:
- Design plan and coordinate work teams.
- Follow standard project management industry practices such as the PMIs framework.
- Understand business and technical objectives of a project and works closely with project sponsor.
- Create project charter and work plan and tracks budget and schedule progress via appropriate metrics.
- Establish project organization and methodologies and define roles and responsibilities.
- Document risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage scope. Create and implement a communication plan.
- Build an effective team assign tasks to team members and evaluate outcomes.
- Negotiate resources.
- Communicate to stakeholders and project sponsor.
- Identify track and ensure resolution of issues and removal of barriers.
- Provide technical support to project team members.
- Handle complex application features and technical designs.
- Design and implement the components required for complex application features.
- Manage a group of applications systems analysts.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Skills required:
- 12 years minimum of Project Manager experience
- Capable of managing aproject with up to ten (10) or more staff and/or a project with multiple subprojects.
- Thorough understanding of industry standard project management methodologies and reporting (12 years)
- Strong leadership and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- History of large application development (12 years)
- Strong problemsolving skills and collaborative attitude
- ***Must have a Valid PMP Certification at the time of submission***

The annual compensation range for this role is $95000 $130000 and Flexion offers a comprehensive benefit package to all employees.
