Job Title: General Labor (Pipe Beveling)
Location: North Tulsa / Catoosa
Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 3:30 PM (hours may vary based on company needs)
Pay: $16/hour
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detailoriented General Laborer to perform pipe beveling operations for our client in North Tulsa/Catoosa. This role involves the use of manual and power tools to bevel pipe ends according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and/or machine beveling of pipe ends per specifications and blueprints
- Operate hand grinders angle grinders and beveling tools to shape and smooth pipe edges
- Measure and inspect bevel angles using precision tools (e.g. protractors calipers)
- Select appropriate tools and abrasives for varying materials (carbon steel stainless steel alloy)
- Interpret fabrication drawings work orders and welding procedures accurately
- Ensure beveled edges meet quality standards and are free from burrs and contaminants
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and replace worn tool components as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Communicate any material tooling or specification issues to the supervisor promptly
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Consistent and verifiable job history
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and tools
- Must pass a national background check and 10panel drug screen
