The IS Application Manager Senior is responsible for leading and managing application development teams through subordinate supervisors. This role focuses on strategic planning resource and budget management team leadership and delivery oversight to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities technical expertise and the ability to manage complex and highimpact projects aligned with business goals.
Participate actively in strategic planning sessions with IT leadership and business stakeholders.
Oversee the planning scheduling resource allocation and budgeting of the assigned applications team or functional area.
Lead and manage complex or strategic IT projects ensuring consistent delivery and adherence to organizational standards.
Maintain expert knowledge of relevant technologies tools and methodologies with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Ensure team performance including supervision coaching and professional development of team members.
Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure all integrations and applications align with architectural standards.
Ensure that technical deliverables including documentation designs and support artifacts are produced and maintained.
Provide oncall production support as needed and lead issue resolution for highimpact incidents.
Drive adherence to agile practices and delivery frameworks within the team.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
10 years of experience in software/application development or IT leadership.
5 years of experience managing or leading software development teams.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Proven ability to lead data integration initiatives and collaborate with architects and crossfunctional teams.
Excellent team leadership interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deliver in highstakes environments.
Strong initiative with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Experience with the ARGO Teller platform or similar financial services platforms.
Agile certifications such as SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Scrum Master (CSM) or Leading SAFe.
Prior experience in the financial services industry.
Experience managing endtoend delivery of technical solutions including design development documentation and deployment.
Strong skills in technical documentation solution design and stakeholder communication.
Familiarity with production support environments and ITIL best practices.
