Role description:
Arcadis is looking for an Architectural Designer to join our team in Boca Raton for work on industrial projects.
Role accountabilities:
- Contributes to the development of light industrial distribution buildings architectural designs by preparing models and working drawings following company standards using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinates architectural design with civil structural MEP fire protection and physical security disciplines
- Prepares design development presentations and construction working drawing packages
- Prepares submission packages under the direction of the architect or job captain/project leader to meet project timelines
- Produces drawings and details in compliance with codes and standards
- Assist with contract administration tasks such as shop drawing reviews and response to RFIs
- Manages workload and budget required for the completion of assigned tasks
- Liaises closely with Architect Job Captain and other designers
- Work on multiple projects at the same time
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 years experience in architectural field designing complex projects with a preference toward industrial experience
- Registration with NCARB and AIA membership is an asset.
- Strong experience with Revit and AutoCAD are mandatory
- Great detailing knowledge and skills
- Experienced with MS Office MS Sharepoint Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam
- Must have good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $65000$85000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
