We are seeking a Marketing Social Media and Communications Lead responsible for creating brand awareness of the NITAAC GWAC and shall utilize various marketing strategies to establish new business leads and customers from the target audience i.e. federal agencies for the purpose of increasing revenue and staying competitive in the GWAC market. Marketing and communications support requires interfacing with media outlets in different time zone locations. Therefore the work schedule for this position requires flexibility.
Hiring Timeframe:Immediate
Work Location:This position is onsite 5 days/week in Rockville Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1500 annually to your Transportation FSA.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of comprehensive solutions using strategically targeted marketing plans that include fullservice execution of media planning and creative multimedia campaigns.
- Demonstrate the capabilities to provide services normally associated with an integrated marketing campaign (market research conference planning etc.).
- Provide copyediting/proofreading services to NITAAC for any ad hoc or formal reports which NITAAC is required to provide to NIH the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) or the Office of Management and Budget.
- Ensure all deliverables are 508 compliant.
- Provide communications support for NITAAC management to help the leadership team communicate NITAAC messaging effectively to all constituent groups.
- Communications support includes social media tasks drafting speeches press releases and website content related to management messaging and outreach.
- May assist with drafting editing and refining website content provided by the NITAAC staff or other contractors.
- Work to expand NITAACs social media presence. This task shall also include using the solution showcase tweeting when NITAAC is at shows and events use of internal applications used by NITAAC for internal communications.
- Seek to educate and create interest in NITAAC GWACs increase NITAACs presence and generate followers under social media platforms to include:
Facebook
LinkedIn
Twitter
Viva Engage (Yammer) (HHS internal only)
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS or AA with at least 5 years of Marketing experience
- Working knowledge of Social Media to include Facebook Linked In Twitter Viva Engage (Yammer)and other pertinent platforms
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Demonstrated ability to use Word Excel PowerPoint Salesforce and SharePoint.
Salary Range:The proposedsalary range for this position is $110000.00 to $120000.00per year. This range reflects factors such as geographic location skills experience training certifications contractspecific affordability and organizational needs.
