Job Title: Learning and Assessment Manager
Reports To: Director of Curriculum Instruction and Assessment
Contract: 205Day Calendar
Compensation: Teacher salary schedule plus $7500 annual stipend
Job Summary:
The Learning and Assessment Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all state and district assessments across the Kuna School District. This includes managing the logistics of testing ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines training staff supporting data analysis and using assessment results to inform instruction. This position also supports district curriculum implementation professional development planning and technical support. The Learning and Assessment Manager works in collaboration with school and district leaders to advance student achievement and ensure accurate state and federal reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assessment Coordination and Oversight:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of state and district assessments (ISAT IRI ACCESS PSAT/SAT etc.).
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal testing regulations and timelines.
- Provide training and support for school testing coordinators administrators and staff.
- Manage test security protocols and maintain confidentiality of assessment materials and results.
- Coordinate the logistics of testing including scheduling materials distribution accommodations and makeup testing.
- Oversee the completion and submission of assessment data and reports to the Idaho State Department of Education.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collaborate with district staff to analyze assessment data to inform instruction and support continuous improvement.
- Prepare userfriendly reports to communicate assessment data to stakeholders.
- Assist in the use of data platforms and tools for instructional decisionmaking.
- Support data collection and reporting for state and federal accountability purposes.
Curriculum and Professional Learning Support:
- Assist the Director of Curriculum Instruction and Assessment in supporting curriculum implementation and instructional resources.
- Support the development and delivery of professional development related to assessment literacy curriculum implementation and instructional best practices.
- Provide technical support to staff related to curriculum platforms and assessment systems.
Federal Programs and Reporting:
- Assist with the collection analysis and reporting of data required for federal programs and state submissions.
- Support compliance and documentation for federal program monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Valid Idaho teaching or administrative certificate.
- Minimum of three years of successful experience in education with experience in assessment coordination preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal assessment systems and requirements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and support datainformed decisionmaking.
- Experience supporting curriculum and professional development is highly desirable.
- Proficient with educational technology tools and student data systems.
Working Conditions:
- District office and schoolbased work.
- Requires travel between school sites.
- Occasional extended hours during peak assessment periods.
