Manufacturing QA Technician II (Overnight / Graveyard Shift)
Onsite Bellevue WA
Schedule: SundayThursday 9:30 PM 6:00 AM PST
TemptoPerm 30 Days (Union membership required if converted to fulltime)
Pay Rate: $25.45 $26.45/hour
*Must be open to overtime on Fridays or Saturdays as needed.
About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing QA Technician II to join our overnight team at our Bellevue WA facility. In this role youll help ensure the safety and quality of food manufacturing operations by conducting laboratory testing maintaining regulatory compliance and performing internal audits. This is a handson position ideal for a detailoriented individual with a science background and a passion for food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sampling testing microbial plating and documentation of product results.
- Maintain daily QA records and digital data entry logs.
- Conduct internal audits and manage noncompliance hold procedures.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot lab and QA equipment.
- Prepare for regulatory and customer inspections; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform lab testing procedures including component analysis environmental swabbing and sensory evaluation.
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCP) and ensure proper recordkeeping.
- Support root cause analysis related to quality complaints and collaborate with production teams.
- Manage and maintain QA specifications procedures and GMP/food safety training documentation.
- Inspect facility and equipment for sanitation and safety compliance.
- Maintain laboratory supply inventory and test equipment readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Food Science Biology Microbiology Chemistry or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Handson knowledge of microbiological physical chemical and sensory testing.
- Familiarity with HACCP GMPs and sanitation practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Intermediate Excel and Windowsbased PC proficiency.
- Strong analytical documentation and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask selfmanage and perform both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong customer service mindset and time management.
