Job Description
Peterson Cat has a need for a Warehouse/Delivery Driver who will be based at our San Leandro CA location.
SUMMARY
The person in this position will split half of their time between working in our Parts warehouse where they will stock locate and provides parts to internal and external customers. The other half of their time will be delivering parts to customers located throughout the Bay Area.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Remove parts and components from shipping containers and place them in the proper location.
Remove parts from storage to fill customer orders parts counter requests and service department requests.
Build hoses per customer verbal instructions written directions or physical samples.
Process parts returns and restock in proper location.
Perform inventory counts as directed.
Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to trucks storage or work areas.
Travel throughout the San Francisco area driving a company vehicle delivering parts.
Assist customers with maintaining a sufficient parts supply
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one year of experience in parts or warehouse work preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
Lift Truck Operator Certificate and or Hazardous Materials Certification desired. Required: Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time delivering parts.
The pay rate for this position is:$25.84. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
